Flexi-Bar®
Physical Therapists and Athletic Trainers have been studying the benefits of vibration therapy for about 30 years, but only recently has vibration therapy been recognized internationally as a great way to build muscle and support the spine. With Flexi-Bar®, the benefits of vibration therapy can be realized at home as well as in a clinical environment.

What is Vibration Training?
Vibration Training is a holistic approach to strength training. Rather than working individual muscles or muscle sets, Vibration Training specifically targets deep muscle tissue attached to the spine. By sending vibrations at different frequencies, Vibration Training forces muscles to expand, contract, and work in very specific ways that encourage strengthening and help prevent injury.

How does Flexi-Bar® Work?
Physical Therapists and Athletic Trainers emphasize the importance of the body's core muscles. Core muscles are involuntary, meaning that they cannot be consciously controlled. They are quite important, however, because they are the muscles that support the spine. Strengthening these muscles can prevent back pain and injury and can improve posture, among other benefits.

Flexi-Bar® primarily targets these core muscles. When holding Flexi-Bar®, almost constant vibration targets these core muscles, forcing them to expand and contract. Flexi-Bar® targets these musclesin a balanced fashion so that no one muscle group is strengthened faster than other groups.

Flexi-Bar® Vibration Therapy also benefits the shoulders, biceps, triceps, the chest, abdominal muscles, and the lower body.

Flexi-Bar® is Indicated
for the following:

Because Flexi-Bar® can target key muscle groups without heavy impact on the joints, it is ideal for many different kinds of therapy and training regimens, including:

• Weight Loss: For the overweight or clinically obese; the low impact on the joints assists those who suffer from mobility problems. Because Flexi-Bar® works several muscle groups at once, it is also an excellent way to burn fat.

• Athletic Training: Flexi-Bar® strengthens the deep core muscles that support and stabilize the spine, thus improving mobility and range-of-motion. It also addresses muscular imbalances, encourages blood flow to injured muscles, and improves reaction times.

• Back Pain Rehabilitation: Physical Therapists pinpoint a lot of back pain issues to core muscle weakness or muscle imbalance. Flexi-Bar® targets the muscles of the spine, strengthens them, and addresses the causes of back pain.
  • Injury Rehabilitation: When a muscle is injured, the body will build up a protective barrier to prevent further injury to the muscle. This barrier can eventually cause the muscle to spasm or stiffen and eventually weaken. Flexi-Bar® gently activates the muscle and encourages blood flow to the area, strengthening the muscle and removing the protective barrier around the muscle. For this reason, Flexi-Bar® is beneficial for treating:
  • Pinched Nerves
  • Knee Injuries
  • Whiplash
  • Slipped Discs
  • Sciatica
  • Shoulder Injuries
  • Hip & Ankle Injuries
  • Tennis Elbow

• Fall Prevention: Because it is a low-impact work-out tool, Flexi-Bar® is ideal for senior citizens. The spinal balance and strengthening that Flexi-Bar® provides is effective for the prevention of falls, which can be dangerous for seniors.
