Magister Now Distributing the PROVALE^® Cup
and the NeckPro^® Cervical Traction Device

Chattanooga, TN...Magister Corporation is now distributing The PROVALE® Cup for swallowing disorders and the NeckPro® Cervical Traction device for the reduction of neck pain.

The PROVALE Cup is designed for people with swallowing disorders (dysphagia). It delivers a fixed measured dose of fluid (5cc or 10cc) to help encourage normal drinking habits and small swallows. When the cup is tilted in a normal drinking motion, the liquid travels out of a measurement chamber. Before any additional liquid can be released, the cup must be returned to the upright position and the drinking motion repeated. With each drinking action the cup dispenses a small amount of liquid that many dysphagia sufferers are able to safely consume. This easy-to-use cup keeps the chin in the optimal position for proper swallowing and may allow for more patient independence.

Unlike a "sippy" cup, The PROVALE Cup has a patented feature that will only allow the user to consume the fixed amount of fluid. Sucking on the drinking spout will not allow additional fluid to be dispensed. The PROVALE Cup is available in two fixed doses: 5cc (1tsp) or 10cc (2tsp).

The NeckPro is an FDA-registered over-the-door cervical traction device used for relieving pain caused by a number of factors including cervical disc herniation, fibromyalgia, neck strain, osteoarthritis, whiplash, pinched nerves, or tension. The NeckPro applies pressure to stretch muscles and force them to relax. As an easy-to-use, portable pain relief product, the NeckPro attaches to the top of a door and does not require the use of heavy water bags or weights. Equipped with a ratcheting mechanism, the user is able to incrementally adjust the amount of tension without having to dismantle and reassemble the unit. Simply sit on a chair and adjust to the desired amount of tension.
